Anglican Board of Mission
For 2017 the Projects we are supporting:
Holy Land - Child Nutrition Al Ahli Arab Hospital
Run by the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem is seeking better outcomes in Child Nutrition through a range of initiatives which have been gladly received and embraced by families and mothers recognising the benefits for their children.
Australia - Youth Engagement.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders make up less than 3% of our population, and yet more than half of all children in juvenile detention. ABM is engaging in a range of initiative to address the issues, profoundly, including youth focus in ministry in remote communities.
The Bush Church Aid Society of Australia has a heart for people living in remote and regional Australia. We are committed to going the distance to reach Australia for Christ. BCA does this by
- proclaiming Christ so that people may respond to Him;
- nurturing Christians in their faith and ministry;
- strengthening local Christian communities in their mission;
- providing services of Christian care and advocacy;
- developing an understanding of Christ's mission and
- promoting active partnership throughout the church.
Mission to Seafarers
The port of Newcastle is growing. Already the largest exporter of coal in the World, Newcastle is continually expanding.
More than a Charity. Our aim is to be a warm, loving “home away from home”. We are committed to serving seafarers by providing excellent services where they feel wanted, accepted, and well looked after.
We desire to make each person who comes to us, feel like they belong. We seek to do all that we can to make a real difference in their life.
